Ramada BY Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding stay my family and I had at Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Hotel & Casino Golden. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, leaving us with a lovely first impression. The location of the hotel was superb, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, stylish, and provided us with all the comforts we needed. The restaurant service was excellent, with attentive and efficient staff who made our breakfast and dinner experiences truly enjoyable. The food was delicious and the variety of options available satisfied everyone's tastes. We were particularly impressed by the exceptional service provided by Mr. Ajay at the Front Office, Mr. Maan Kumar Lohar and Ms. Roshni at F&B Service, Mr. Prem and Mr. Raju at the Travel Desk. Their professionalism and dedication made our trip truly memorable. We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the other team members who were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Overall, our experience at hotel was exceptional and we highly recommend families visiting Gangtok to choose this hotel as their first preference for staying. Thank you once again for providing us with a wonderful stay and creating lasting memories for my family.

1.I visited their casino golden and took 3000 rupees ticket,and was told drinks will be served on table if I am playing but no one is there to serve. 2.They just serve drinks and snacks on coupons after that u are on ur own. 3.The crowd is allowed to do anything, they were throwing cash on dance performances and doing things like it's a dance bar. 4.Totally not worth visiting.

Stayed on 18 Sep. The experience was initially pleasant (ignoring the closed sky deck and pool as exceptions, locked hangers in wardrobe making them unusable as Ramada special) till the check out time when it made me repent my choice of staying at this hotel. After making the final settlement around 10:45 am, I was informed that housekeeping staff is unable to locate a small towel in the room. To my utter surprise, even after pointing to the number of towels present when I checked in, places where they can locate them, there wasn't enough effort made to resolve the embarrassment guest is facing. I had to go up to the room again from reception lobby to count the towels myself, only when they reluctantly stopped complaining. The check out process took me 25 minutes. Hotel staff need to understand that guests spending upwards of INR 10k / day at the hotel won't steal an INR 500 towel. This kind of casual attitude will surely make them lose customers in future. I, for sure, am never staying at Wyndham hotels again. Pros: Well maintained property, valley facing rooms have a good view

Booked a room for a night stay so that I could catch an early morning flight the next day. Rooms were small and not sound proof. They knew that I was traveling with a child and still chose to assign a room that was the last in the corridor, right next to the stairs and there was a club above which was blasting music like it wasn't even funny! Up until 11pm, I could hear music and screams and then clattering of plates. I requested for an early check-in (first time in my life) and these guys did not even bother to respond to my email. For a 2pm check-in, the girl on the phone asked me to check post 9am when I told her that if she tells me, I could plan accordingly since I was traveling with a child. Phone answering staff also needs some training on better customer handling and managing service no situations, rather than simply saying "I can't tell you", she could have said "Unfortunately, we will only know in the morning if a guest wants to check-out early and if early check-in can be accommodated". She casually asked me to call back again in the morning of the hotel stay date I called reception a few times and as always, they told me they are looking into the noise issue from the club above but nothing happened. I requested for the duty manager to call me as they were giving his cell number, the guy Ram never did. I ultimately called him on his cell and he said he will get the music turned down/off in 10 minutes but nothing happened. The room was literally shaking with the passing of vehicles on the road right outside the room as it was facing the road. Minibar was empty though there was pricelist of items next to the room phone. Only the food was nice and the restaurant staff was helpful, courteous and attentive! There was Jemima and another girl from Assam (forgot her name, she was really passionate about her work), they made the restaurant experience nice! With people paying a decent amount of money and this property just being a year older, I expected better but it turned out below average. I paid almost the same amount of money for the rooms at Ramada Darjeeling and the experience was way better!

This review is for the restaurant - Trinity. 1. Very slow service and bad service 2. Food expensive yet not good. We had ordered two soups, both Italian, one tasted like a sour Chinese soup while the other came pretty cold. Had asked for oregano and chilli flakes, which never reached us even after 2.5 hrs at the restaurant. They gave the risotto early, while the next pasta took more than n hr, and they did not make what we asked for, so had to return and again took them a half n hr to get the terribly made pasta, so we had to order another, which took another half n hr. Was scheduled for just an hr for the dinner, but was there for 2.5 hrs . And finally when we Paid, they did not have change, so they gave an extra hundred rupees, and asked me for change !!!!
